Need help locating my Xbox one

Hi thank you but from what I googled and read the police and Microsoft can track the Xbox one with the IP address they have to work together and also from what I read you need a police report for them to even track the IP address I did make a report out but from what I see the police said that they can't and won't call Microsoft same thing when I chatted with Microsoft then why on the Website I read if you have a police report then they can work together to track the stolen Xbox

Unfortunately you can not track a stolen console

All you can do is change your account´s password to secure your account and report the console

I recommend that you report your stolen console to your local law enforcement as well as your insurance company. You’ll need to provide the serial number for the missing console. To find it:

Sign in to your account, and then select All Devices under the Devices category.

Sign in and review your devices

Go to the console that was stolen and select Show details.

The serial number is listed under Device details.

It can technically be done but the police would need a court order and will to use resources and time to track a console (which in my opinion is very unlikely). The police would then need to reach out to Microsoft, not the other way around

the reason why you cannot find Puerto Rico because its Xbox Live currently is not available in that country.

Puerto Rico is a US Territory so you should put the US as your location in this instance. This means Xbox Live is supported in Puerto Rico.

The drop-downs that typically list States should also cover Puerto Rico and other similar territories.

There should not be any issues with this, but let us know if you encounter any problems.
