NEED HELP!!!!! Green Screen Issue

I've been having an issue where the green startup logo stays on the screen for 30+ minutes without proceeding to the dashboard....tried the offline system diagnostic tool! and the system seemed to take the update , but when installing the update, the
install freezes at around 60% and then after waiting for about an hour! the screen just turns black....

Any help that anyone can give me would be REALLY Appreciated

Internet explorer and Netflix not working

Have you done a reboot holed button on console until it powers down unplug from mains 30 seconds power back up

Then if you can check OS 1404-140411-1830 this is the latest update

 

I tried that before using the downloaded diagnostic tool but still nothing

 

The only thing is a factory reset to which means installing your games and apps as your game save in the cloud you should get them back whatever you do good luck

 

Hes stuck at the green screen. He cant even get to the home page of his console. Looks like you might need to call Xbox support and see if they have anything. Almost seems like you might need to set up a repair OP

 

Have you tried hard button reset, that means go to console turn off xbox. Unplug from wall outlet. Let sit 30 seconds. Then plug back in. Wait two minutes for PSU to reset. Then turn on at console. Make sure you do not have internet connected when you install
the update from the flash drive. Good luck

 

The same thing has just happened to me. It's the green screen of death, it has turned my console into a brick. There's only a little bit on it on the web and xbox support don't seem to know what the different error codes mean. Truth be told, my console had
been regularly freezing/crashing and black screening for a while, then the old Error 303 came up, tried all the tricks provided by xbox support including the USB workaround but that just gave it Error 101. Have to say, I've never had much luck with xbox consoles.
It will probably require you sending it in for repair and receiving a refurbished one. Personally, I'd much prefer to swap it for a ps4.
