Need Help For a Repair

Hello, I have an Xbox One Wireless Controller and I had it plugged in to my PC to play a game on Steam. My brother called me and I scooted back quite quickly from my chair, controller in hand and forgot that I had it plugged in since it's usually connected
to my xbox. The controller flew out of my hands and hit the ground and the right bumper broke and I can lift the right side out of the unit. The button still works although if I tilt the controller upside-down, it will fall lift out, not all the way but enough
where I can see inside the controller. I googled my problem in hopes to troubleshoot it and found that many others have had the same thing happen to them. Does anyone know an easy fix for this instead of buying a brand new controller for $70.00.

I'm afraid the only way to fix it is to open the controller and change the bumper.

Hello if not under warranty any more you can go to EBay and buy a new bumper for cheap. You can go to Youtube to watch videos on how to repair. It is really really to fix the controllers. Ive done about 3 on my own.

Device Support site. There you will be asked to register your console and be given any available options.

No. In order to remove the internal hard drive, you would have to open the console which you should not do and Microsoft would no longer touch it once it's been opened.
