    Need help, Ethernet


    So, since my wireless internet is terrible, I found an old modem that runs Ethernet, powered it up and connected it to my Xbox One. However, it won't connect to Xbox Live. It tells me my NAT type, but says Service info is unavailable, and I can't do anything!
    I've tried powering down my system and turning it back on, no help. I need a solution. Anyone?

    hey guys can someone help me out please? ive system linked with my xbox one and my brothers to play together with no lag since we cant over the internet cause of bad lag. we have a normal blue ethernet cable that we used to play system link, well we played a couple of times and everything was fine but at a certain point mid game one of us always gets kicked out with a notification saying error about the connection and system link. i mean is there a ethernet cable like a certain one that wer supposed to used to play games or that doesnt matter? i mean maybe its just black ups 3 cause we havent tried any other game but if we need a certain ethernet cable please tell me. help anyone?

    Wifi wont work because screen says theres a ethernet cable connected when there isnt

    i need help with the wifi on my xbox 360 slim 4gb. When i try to connect using a wireless connection a screen pops up saying a ethernet connection is in use and only the ethernet connection will be used, when i dont have an ethernet connection connected.

    You changed your modem with the one you was using? Did you call your ISP? You can't just switch out modems without getting them involved.

    Have you tried the troubleshooting network option on the Xbox?

    Xbox Ethernet port not working

    You will need to check that the ethernet cables you are using are CAT5 or CAT6 as the older cables might not pick up on the xbox.

    I can't sign in.

    Sorry to hear it. If you're connected via wireless try connecting with an Ethernet cable to see if that helps.

    If it does not then you may need to try a factory reset on the console to see if that helps.
