    NEED HELP! Connected to Internet and Live via Wifi But DENIED by ALL Game Multiplayers!


    I've been struggling with this issue for two weeks and even Xbox support appears to be stumped by it.

    I've connected my Xbox One via wifi in a new house I just moved into and everything appears to be working properly EXCEPT all my games tell me that "I need to be signed into Xbox Live to play online" or access online features...but I
    am connected to online according to the Xbox...

    I have done about everything:

    - I have hard reset the Xbox One

    - I have reset the router multiple times

    - I have deleted and re-downloaded my Xbox Live profile

    - My Live subscription isn't up for another 3 months

    - Xbox Support even cancelled my current Live subscription and gave me a new one, still no luck

    - I have tried manually entering in router data

    All of this has been done and when testing connection BOTH "Test network connection" AND "Test multiplayer connection" have
    confirmed "All is good"!?

    Under "Current Network Status", NAT Type is Open and "All services are available".

    I have tried different types of games like Forza Horizon 2 and Grand Theft Auto V and no matter the game, I get messages saying I must be connected to Live to to access online features.

    - I don't get any numerical or pop up error messages from the Xbox about the connection

    - The home dashboard is displayed as it normally is when connected online

    - All applications such as Pandora and Netflix work fine

    - I can still download content via the store

    - Under detailed network statistics, Wireless Strength is at
    100%


    Has anyone had a similar issue? Any help would be great as I've never heard of such a problem.

    Unable to connect to Xbox Live

    I've been having this problem for a while now. I've tried all tricks from support page and nothing. I'm currently connected to internet via cabel to make sure it's not WiFi. Xbox Live is still not working. Please help!

    X1 Desperate Help !!

    are you connected to Live via wifi or are you hard wired?

    Hmmm..... I just checked all my settings as you described.... and have the exact same results (I can play all my games).... so;

    -

    Maybe fully unplug the X1 from the brick, and unplug the brick from the wall, let the light go out on the brick (can take a couple minutes), mean while fully unplug you router completely so there is absolutely no power cord plugged into it, and let it power
    down. Then restart both and see..... seems like a provider problem, not a X1 problem???

    Tried. It didn't work. Still says all is good and available but I'm still being denied by all my games.

  6. what about clearing the alternate MAC address from your xbox one and clearing the persistent storage in the blu ray player? that helps when I do that before a hard reset

  7. if your router supports SIP ALG disable it. if you don't have voice over the internet phone service, you don't need to have that enable anyway.

    payment of xbox live

    You would need wifi for purposes of updating and purchasing content via internet. Xbox live gold on the other hand is an option if you are looking to play multiplayer and other internet actions like being able to use game pass which is a separate service.
    Streaming services would need internet but no longer need xbox live gold to work so that choice is up to you.
