Need help cant connect to friend

I am having a similar issue with a friend who lives about a block away from me. Except that we can't connect on any game or party chat. We both have the NAT Open and all the correct ports forwarded and are on a wired connect and have the same ISP.

I do not want to take the credit for this, but instead I want to explain NAT issues. You have the Lamen's term of NAT. Let's take this one step further, if you can join a party and your friend can join that same party that neither of you created, we call
this (joining a freind of a friends party) you still have a NAT issue and you can use this link to resolve it. forums.xbox.com/.../157383.aspx This may mean
that you are not experiencing an issue at all but your friend is experiencing the issue. Especially when you connect fine with everyone but this one other friend. In short, both of you should open your ports via port forwarding seen here:

I have the same problem. I reconfigured everytihng I had no problems until last week to me. Miss Portia what error message are you talking about it just tells me I can not connect to my friends party. I can join games fine, but Red Dead it keeps giving me
the same thing Excruciation. If microsoft is not going to fix this problem then I am done with the service.

Hello! What is the exact error message you see when you try to connect? Also, are you trying to play online on this account, or another? Thanks!
