Need help buying a new TV for my xbox one.

Right i currently own a Samsung 37" 1080p LCD (50hz Refresh) but im kinda wanting a new TV as iv had this one for awhile now and i have seen a Samsung 40" 1080p LED 3D smart TV (200hz Refresh) but i was wondering if the tv refresh rates actually make a
difference to the gaming experience on the xbox one? like will it actually affect motion blurring and make it smoother and nicer or should i just be sticking with a 50hz or maybe even 100hz? i normally have my HDMI 1 channel set in gaming mode also for my
xbox one, i also watch alot of football and alottttttttt of bluray films!

smart TV question with Xbox One

We need a new TV, and I was thinking of buying a Samsung smart TV. However, I am also thinking about buying an XBOX One. Should I bother getting a smart tv, or would the smart tv features be a waste because the XBOX one would have all those features (like
streaming, web browsing, etc). In summary, if you have an XBOX one, is there any reason to buy a smart tv?

 

Xbox One HDMI requirements

Hi friends -

Can anyone confirm for me that we will still only need one HDMI-in to the TV for Xbox One and our satellite box since it will feed through the Xbox?

I'm in the process of buying a new TV before the new consoles arrive, and I want to make sure I have enough HDMIs for the future. (It has three - - so I'm hoping I can have my 360/PS3 swap for one, my Xbox 1/satellite on one and my 3D blu-ray player on
the other. )

Any help would be awesome.

The TV is Samsung PN60F5500 60-Inch 1080p 600Hz 3D Smart Plasma HDTV if anyone happened to have any comments or experience with it.

Iv also just found a Samsung 42" 1080p LED (100hz Refresh) kinda thinking to go for this one cause i don't need the smart TV or 3D but id just like to know what kinda refresh rate i should be looking at to have low input lag on gaming?

 

I'm looking for a tv too Wuts a good tv and the $800-900 range?

There are normally modes for Film, TV, and Sports. Use the appropriate mode. If you don't like what the processing does, set the TV to Game mode.

Samsung LED is the way to go (the 3D & Smart features can't hurt either); the higher you can get the refresh rate, the better. The size of the TV you should get is dependent on the size of your room and how far away you intend to sit from the TV itself (generally,
the bigger the room or the further you sit back, the bigger you'll want the TV). Do NOT get plasma.

 

Highly recommend Samsung LED. I have a Smart TV (UE32EH500) and 2 monitors (SyncMaster S22B300 + S22C300) and they all perform brilliantly. Samsung of course make much higher-end equipment but my experience is that they all provide beautiful sharp images
with no noticeable lag or blurring and they give great vibrant colours and deep blacks. The Smart Hub features are pretty cool too as it's all accessible without turning on an Xbox or external device. It's also pretty cool that there's an app if you have a
Smart TV and you can change the channel remotely which is great for both pranks and fighting over what to watch.

I'm buy no means a Samsung salesman, there may be better TVs on the market but me and my friends all have and swear buy Samsung screens and we're yet to be let down.

 

I just purchases a Samsung 55" smart TV, IMO is a great TV.

 

Another vote for Samsung here. I've a Samsung 46" 120hz LCD that's about 6 years old, and I'm looking to replace it with another Samsung in the 50-55" range.

 

Panasonic and Samsung are the best TV brands. I have a 65inch panasonic. it's a a beauty when you have it calibrated correctly. The TV refresh actually don't make a difference after a 100hz. So its up to you.
