    Need help and repair/replace on my controller


    i have had enough. I got this controller for christmas and the headphone port is already broken. Making my headset useless. I tried to contact support but it doesnt work i keep going from one page called login.live to support.xbox.etc...

    So ive come here. I know the mic works because ive used 3 different mics on my ipad, TV and and controller. None of them worken on my controller and all of them worked on everything else... Please give me a repair on my xbox one volcano controller.

    Microsoft email me please so i can get back with the serial no. And other info about my controller that i dont currently know

    The entire reason i got a new controller was because my mic wouldnt work with a day1 controller and it the only part i got it for, breaks.

    Connection problems with my Xbox One Controller

    If the second controller works, you may need to replace the first controller. Go to

    Device service and repair    , sign in with your Microsoft account, then select
    Replace an accessory    . If both controllers disconnect often, your console may need service. Go to

    Device service and repair    , sign in with your Microsoft account, register your Xbox if it doesn’t already appear there, then select
    Request repair.

    Opinions From People Regarding XB Controller Stick Tension?

    I'd like to put myself out there are someone more interested in repair then modification. For a normal controller I'd just replace it if it broke but an elite controller is getting into the price range where repairs might make sense.

    This is not Xbox Support, it's users helping users.

    - That's most likely the issue right there.

    - The Apple headsets use and OMTP standard

    - Xbox and Android headsets use the CTIA standard

    If you use an OMTP headset, you’ll probably experience audio or chat issues. However, if your headset or earbuds use the OMTP standard, you can purchase an adapter to convert the device to CTIA.

    These adapters are available at many electronic retail stores.

    You need to use a compatible headset with the Xbox One controller. It's most likely not your controller.

    You will probably need to send it in for repair/replacement if under warranty or simply purchase a new controller. You can try updating the controller and see if it helps but as I stated before it is typically time for repair or replacement.

    This sounds like a fault with the controller and something that would need to be repaired.

    If the controller is still under warranty Microsoft are always great at getting things repaired/replaced ( in my experience)

    You'll need to contact Xbox Support by phone or chat to see if the controller is available for replacement. There isn't a "repair" option for the controller.

    If it is available for replacement, you will need to cover the cost for shipping to the repair center. No shipping label will be provided.
