Need Help. Achievements not unlocking

I play offline and I have alot of achievements that should have been unlocked but aren't. I know you have to be connected to internet to get the achievements which I do on occasion to receive my achievements but I'm not getting them. I've never had this
problem before. I also find it weird that I have achievements from a month ago that haven't unlocked yet but I have achievements I earned a couple days ago that have already unlocked, this is extremely confusing and frustrating. I wish earning achievements
offline was as easy like on the 360. Any help on getting my achievements I've been waiting on for a while

need help achievement not unlocking

I have earned the achievement for "sore fingers" in two other versions of wordament but it will not unlock for the web version of the game despite all progress being shared across all versions of Wordament.

One thing to remember is that you can only unlock a certain number of achievements while not connected to live although I think it should tell you when you've reached your limit.

Have you tried playing the games that you unlocked achievements on but while connected to live?

The reason it's like it is now is to prevent Gamerscore modding.

 

I can't really play the game while connected to live cause as soon as I connect to internet it's gonna notify me to update the game. I don't really have the internet to do things like play online or update games. I just try to do the best I can with my phone's
internet to get my achievements or get some doc. Btw I've also tried restarting my xbox and unplugging the power source, both of which have failed to solve my problem

Unfortunately you are going to run into issues if your internet/broadband is that bad.

Achievements are linked to the cloud now to prevent modding so you do really need a decent connection to xbox live.

 

Yeah I've been trying to find some decent internet for 6 yrs ever since I moved outside of town. Only thing really out here is satellite internet but I've researched it heavily and apparently it's gonna be no good for stuff like Xbox live

Unfortunately due to certain individuals who decided to mod their Gamerscore on the 360 something had to be done to prevent this so achievements are linked to the cloud.

It does impact people with poor internet/broadband.

While this doesn't affect the majority of people it does affect people like you.It sucks but other than getting better internet/broadband there's not much you can do.

Chances are the achievements you unlocked will show eventually but you will need to be connected to live.

 

Given that the Xbox One has yet to prove hackable in the four years since its release restricting the unlocking of achievements to the cloud doesn't seem like it's there to prevent hacking.

More likely Microsoft know how powerful achievements and gamerscore have become to in the minds Xbox gamers and restricting the ability to unlock them to being online means people are going to have to connect their system to Live, where even for a brief moment
they will be exposed to the advertisements and offers in place there. Also you'll have to accept any update for the console before you can access Live to update those achievements. This way Microsoft make sure that they keep control of the console and not
the person who owns it.

That or I am just enjoying a conspiracy theory.

 

like for real gamerscore modding cant be that big of a problem that justified turning over to a cloud based system

People are still getting their 360 gamerscores reset for modding now.

when I would connect to xbox live every once in a while at hotels id stay at for work. Until I beat the game. I maxed out my xp and levels, collected every collectible in the Game, bought every upgrade and played every story mission, offline. A few weeks later
when I connected to xbox live again, it started popping achievements that I had unlocked offline, but only 6 popped! An unbelievable amount, 16 to be exact did not unlock or pop or do anything! Now I understand all the requirements need to be met. They are!
I have all weapons but not all weapon achievements. My rebel ops are maxed out and no achievement. Played all missions and storys and not all achievements are earned. 16 have not unlocked popped or saved! Wtf!? At first I thought I'd wait for a game update
and it would be fixed, but here we are on the 5th update and nothing. Then I looked online....and though some people had issues with some achievements not working, and missing documents like in media luna, NOBODY HAD THIS MANY NOT WORK! so I called Microsoft
and spent 4 hours talking with them to see if it could be fixed on their end, and after trying different things they told me they were out of ideas and all they could do was tell me to post to one of these forums! Are you kidding me?! I know someone at microsoft
in the achievement department can help me or just unlock them but you can't speak to anyone or contact that crew! If someone out there has had the same problem or knows a fix pleaseeeeeeeee contact me promptly. Here I am wasting my damn time writing you now

There is no "achievement department".

You can only unlock a limited amount of achievements while not connected to live.

The BBB will laugh at you.There's nothing wrong with the game,it's the fact that you are not connected to xbox live.

Achievements are just a meaningless number.

If you want the achievements to unlock then you need to redo them & connect to live before you reach the limit or play while connected to live.
