    Need help accessing an old account.


    I created an account way back in the early 2000s on my old 360 and when I made that account I used an email that have long forgotten the password to it. Now I had linked that account to my current account as a family one and I am wanting to access this old
    account to see if it would allow me to play with certain DLC for mass effect 2 and 3 that you can not buy anymore. Problem is I have no memory of the password since I haven't used the account in so long and cant access the email for that reason and without
    that password I cant sign in to download the dlc I am wanting. So if there is a way for me prove that the account is mine so I can somehow change the email and password to a current one so I could use it that would be great.

    My Xbox started up again in its own and wiped my old account off and gave me a new account.

    Hey guys.


    I don't know if am allowed to post help threads as I see no specific sections but I thought I needed to get help from somewhere.

    I'm getting an error when trying to download my old account. It still has xbox gold ( and gold pp901m on mw3 Need help accessing an old account. :) and i guesss Need help accessing an old account. :( ) and i need to get the account back so i can play on it again.

    This is what the error says . ( for some reason you can't dl profiles offline but you used to be able to )

    ERROR: Sorry, there's a problem with the credentials that you are using to sign in.

    Visit https:// account.live .com to fix the problem.

    I have gone to account.live and tried to sign in with my old account. but it says password is wrong ( even though the DL profiles says it's correct ) I have also gone to Can't access your account but that is no help niether is Google or Youtube.

    Please help me. Thanks.

    I am so sorry you are finding it difficult to find your past alias.

    You can try to find your account by logging in directly with his phone number.

    You can find your username using this recovery tool: [https://account.live.com/username/recover] by inputting related data.

    If this does not work, you can try to look for email receipts on alternative accounts or find accounts you made be logged into on different services.
