    Need help about my Gamertag


    Hello,

    I write this message because I have a big problem. When I used my xbox I entered my Gamertag and an email address.

    This email address is not associated with my gamertag (DryChoas), but it is associated with a gamertag that I do not know!

    All my backups are present on the gamertag "DryChoas" and I will really like the recovered ones!

    If there is a necessary step to take, thank you for telling me.

    You will have to contact XBOX Support and speak with them about starting an unauthorized use ticket. They will ask you a bunch of questions pertaining to your gamertag and you will have to answer all the questions otherwise they will not be able to help
    you retrieve your account. This process can take anywhere from 7-10 days but sometimes can take upwards of 30 days. They will compensate you for lost XBOX Live time, but the only way to initiate this is to contact them. You can do this by going to
    http://support.xbox.com/ and then click on on the Contact Us link at the top right and clicking "Call" they will have a number listed as well as times they are open. Hope this helps you out.

    Hey there, capitalizations randomly do not help you get the tag. For example, is the same tag as , and as it is the same word. This is why it is saying it is in use. Someone out there has that tag, so you can't choose it no matter how many
    capitalization combinations you use. You will have to choose another tag that is available. Best of luck :)
