"Need gold membership" but I have one

Discus and support "Need gold membership" but I have one in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Today I try to play multiplayer on evolve.     Today I try to play multiplayer on evolve. When I click on "multiplayer", it takes me to a page, saying that I need a gold membership, which I have. So then I try to use a free two day trial code I have and see if that works, and then my xbox says that I
    already have a gold membership, so I cannot use the code. What do I do?

    "Your account does not have the correct permission to access Xbox LIVE functionality".

    I do have a membership with xbox gold live but im still receiving this message.

    Try hard rebooting your console by following these steps:

    1) Turn off console and unplug everything. Keep the console off until the power brick's light is completely off.

    2) Plug the console back in and turn it on

    3) Connect back to Xbox Live

    Having same problem. Have already tried the steps above, doesn't fix the problem. Played some cod 3 hours ago, everything was working fine then.

    And it shows I have gold here on the forums! I have no idea what's going on.

    do you have gold membership on your account or home gold

    If home gold that would be why

    You need to have an actual membership for 360 games with gold

    Home gold only works with Xbox one

    If 48hour trial then no that's not gold
    I have the gold membership on my account.

    Xbox Live Gold - probably asked before

    On the 360 you need a gold membership for each individual account.

    If you have an xbox one you only need one gold account per console,then every other account on that console gets gold free as part of your membership.

    you can use your xbox one gold membership on your 360 also, but any one else on the 360 will need to buy their own gold time.

    When playing on the 360 each person would need to have a Gold membership if they wanted to play online.

    If you were using an Xbox One only one person would need a Gold membership to play. That membership could be shared amongst all family members on the Xbox One console.

    Sorry you are having this issue. Are you aware that on the Xbox One all members of a family can enjoy the benefits of one Gold membership? That means that if you have a Gold membership you just go to Settings and add the children to the Family and they
    will have access to the Gold as well. No need to purchase extra memberships anymore.
