I need my gamertag changed as soon as possible because I am constantly getting harassed on xbox live and threat messages. I need to get it force changed so the harassment will stop

Being Harassed

Hello I am Being harassed and made fun of on Xbox live because of my gamer tag. And i do not have any money at the time so i can not change it. I don't understand what is wrong with the gamertag but i would like to have it changed because of all the harassment.

You can change it at any time, but you will have to pay for it. It is not possible to get a free change. Forced gamertag changes only happen when the enforcement team have determined that your gamertag violates the code of conduct and you are then given
a randomly generated tag that you must pay to change if you want something else.

If you're being harrassed, you need to file complaints and block communications with those people.

As suggested above:

You do not need to change your gamertag.

Block communication with this person, and report them for the harassment.

One doesn't simply get a free gamertag change because THEY SAY they are being threatened, then everyone would claim this.

Unfortunately Xbox does not give out free gamertag changes - even if you're being harassed because of it. You should report and block people who are harassing you.

You must purchase a gamertag change. There's no free changes because of this.
