Need For Speed Underground 2003 crash after loading screen on Windows 11

Whenever I try to load this game it crashes. I installed directx Jun2010 redist already to see if it can't load some directx drivers, still nothing changed. Made an DEP (Data Execution Prevention) exception rule for speed.exe, didn't work.

Yes I've tried it with compatibility modes and run as an admin. Though this exact copy is a mod, I've tried original physical copy and it didn't worked the same way. I was told that modified versions fixed this issue, but unfortunately not. NFS Underground 2 works by the way.

I just wonder if logs above can tell you some info about what exactly happening.

Exists the probability that this game isn't compatible with your current hardware due to its release date.
May I know if you tried running the game in compatibility mode?
Try with each one available, Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8.1 and 10.

If the issue persists, may I know where did you get the game?
It's important to know if it's 100% original or not.

Hi, I checked the logs. But basically I didn't find something useful. The errors are unknown or don't lead to anything

If you don't mind and want to try. Create a virtual machine and install there Windows 7, then install the regular need for speed underground and check how it goes. Probably is going to work there.

If you're using a Windows Pro/Enterprise/Education version you can do it natively. If not you may need to use a third party app like VMWARE player etc.

Any possible way we could get more original xbox sports games backwards compatable? Like nba street vol2 or 3, fight night, mlb baseball 2005, nhl hitz 2003, espn nfl 2k5, tony hawks underground, ssx on tour, any of the mlb slugfest’s, nba ballers, nfl
blitz 2003, and possibly need for speed underground and hot pursuit 2? Just some idea’s since there isnt many original xbox sports games that are backwards compatable
