    I purchased Need for Speed Rivals over a year ago and never was able to get past the Title Screen before it crashed. Since i waited too long for the store to accept an exchange, I contacted Electronic Arts. After spending over three hours of my time with their online customer service representatives, trying all the potential fixes they suggested, the game still crashes on the title screen. They would not give me a replacement disk with the excuse that the game is no longer supported because of its age... yet they were still had supply in the stores. Poor excuse EA. The last EA rep that i spoke with suggested I contact Microsoft. How do I do so and will Microsoft actually offer help on a title they do not publish? Please advise.

    You shouldn't waited that long in this case to request a replacement, but if the game it's trough Xbox one and the disc it's recognize by the console you should have no issues to play it, could you please let me know if you see an error message when you try to launch the game

    Hmm, that is interesting.. I did some digging, but could not find anything relevant.

    As this seems due to an in-game patch, I would suggest reaching out to
    EA Support     on this. They will be best equipped to assist.

    Let us know what they find.

    It seems this is an ongoing issue with this game, some users are saying a hard reset will resolve the issue, If that doesn't resolve the issue you could try the steps that are suggested in the post below.
