    Need for Speed Rivals - Unlocking achievements in Single Player vs default multiplayer mode.


    Hi all,

    I recently picked up Need for Speed Rivals off Xbox live and I wanted to know can achiements be unlocked if you play single player (still connected to Xbox Live and EA servers) or do you need to be player the default multiplayer modes the are immediately available
    upon launching the game?

    Achievements not unlocking in Need for Speed Rivals

    I was playing with a friend and should have unlocked

    -Friendly race & -Buddy bust

    Both unlocked for my friend but not for me.

    Specific Achievements Not Unlocking

    Hi all,

    I’m currently experiencing a couple of problems with certain achievements not unlocking on Dead Rising 3 and Need for Speed Rivals. The specific achievements that won’t unlock are: “Prestige Hound(Dead Rising 3)” and “Buddy Bust & Friendly Race(Need for
    Speed Rivals).” I have double and triple checked that I have done all of the requirements for the achievement, but still don’t have any luck with them unlocking.



    It might be of importance, I have had no problem unlocking the other achievements in both games.



    I have also contact Xbox support through chat and they gave me a troubleshooting way to see if it would fix the problem, which it didn’t. I have also downloaded and installed the newest “July” console update with no resolve.



    I would like to get this resolved since I enjoy unlocking all of the achievements I can get in a game.

    Need for Speed Rivals - Unlocking achievements in Single Player vs default multiplayer mode.

    Achievements will unlock in single player unless they say they require Autolog/friends. But most of them are SP possible.

    I like it a lot.

    The focus is multiplayer but there is a single player campagin (you unlock via multiplayer) and a training mode vs. bots.

    I was hoping to try the Single Player mode, being that the multiplayer mode no longer logs any XP or earned unlocks.
