    Need for speed: Hot Pursuit Online pass


    Basically i bought a brand new copy of Needs for speed: Hot Pursuit which contained an online pass, when i entered the code it said it has already been used, its was in a sealed plastic cover unopened and need a solution as i want to go online but can't
    because its apparently already been redeemed, i still have xbox Live membership so please can anyone help me out?

    When EA discontinued the online passes, they made all the online passes free for download off xbox live. You have to get the online pass for Need for Speed hot pursuit through the game itself.

    EA's online passes were discontinued last year, which means you can now download the pass at no cost from the xbox marketplace or game.

    Yep, just find the game in the Marketplace and under add-ons you should find the Online Pass available for free. Download that and away you go. Weird that the included code would not work but I would not worry too much about it.

    Thanks Maxen, i didnt really know about the online pass's being free to be honest, thought it was just MSP they discontinued,

    EA decided last year some point to end the practice of having online passes, but some other publishers will still do them for their game; it wasn't a system-wide decision to end them, just EA.

    NRg TaCTiiCs x is right i'm afraid. EA seemed to have discontinued the online pass for this game. I would recommend contacting them, and maybe they can give you a free code.
