Need for parental timer

There really needs to be a parental timer. Im very dissapointed the xbox one doesnt have this. The lack of this will certainly influence future purchases of microsoft products in my home. I wonder if there is a notifcation system if Microsoft ever develops
this to be alerted.

At this time, there is no 'Parental Timer' on the Xbox One.

I would suggest posting in our Feedback Forums, as that is a feature I agree would be wonderful to have.

 

Hi Archers: There is, in fact, a timer feature. Please follow the link below to assist you in setting it up.

 

You could always do it the old fashioned way and use a stopwatch, an egg timer, a timer on a microwave or lastly the oven timer. Simple run of the mill items around the house.

 

you can set it to shut off about an hour just goto settings to set it

 

I have just been looking into this and chatting to Xbox support. They have stated "There is an update that this will be available soon but there is no estimated time for this." If you contact them they can make sure to send you an update once this will be
available.

 

The family timer is lacking when you have 1 xbox & 4 gamers. Have to keep resetting it to keep it working. Needs t ohave an option that the timer counts per profile instead of per console.
