Need Enforcement Help Old Account that still Looks Active

OK, I give up.

I honestly cannot understand how my old, deleted account can still be actively accepting friend requests when my entire Microsoft account has been deleted, it makes absolutely no sense to me and surely cannot be right. At the very least
it should have been deactivated and no longer accepting requests.

Note for the future , stop telling people to 'you should have done it the right way'
when they come here with a problem. The 'right way' way you mention isn't instructed by Microsoft anywhere I can see and certainly isn't mentioned when deleting your account, in fact it says 'Microsoft
permanently removes the account after 60 days' - by repeatedly saying it it comes across very condescending and patronising.

Anyway, as I say, I give up. What chance have I got when official support sends me here of all places.

Xbox phone support.sends people.here because they can't help you only if you keep pushing the issue

Official ms support will.never send you here

And yes there is a difference

Forums is the only way you can get offical .xbox. redmond support and only offical support not the pet team

Ms.support is completely different from .xbox. support that's what you aren't getting

Phone support is not corporate ms Xbox support

Nor do they have the same level of access as offical support

Enforcement is and only is offical redmond group depending on locale

There is no way you can delete an account what you are talking about is completely different

No noone can access your data or account and add friends once deleted

However you are still viewable because only your private data (achievements aren't pii)

Well that's the thing, my old account is still accepting friend requests because I've added it as a friend to my new account and others have also added it thinking it was me (which it was).

This is the problem I've got and why I'm surprised to see it's still semi-active even though I thought it had been deleted.

You need to recover it and change the name of you want to free up the namrok

The enforcement team do not use the forums and there is no way to contact them regarding an issue like this. They only handle suspensions/bans. ngocphi has given you the correct information. You can delete a Microsoft account (which you have done), but it
is not possible for you to delete an Xbox account.
