***Need Enforcement Help*** Old Account that still Looks Active

I deleted my old Microsoft account around 2 years ago but I can still see my old Xbox Profile in peoples friends list and I can still even add that old profile as a friend.

I've contacted online support and the told me to come here as 'Enforcement' needed to look at it?

Please help.

Unfortunately any Enforcement Actions can't be lifted, Xbox isn't obliged to tell you any details why but you can sign into that suspended account on the enforcement site for details and also appeal your suspension >>>

I have went to the enforcement site, but there is no where I can click on to appeal. It also says that the enforcement history is clean on the account vx makaveli xv1 is there any other thing I could do.

 

why would it be an enforcement issue?

You do realize you can't delete an account righr?

Deleting an ms account makes it harder to recover and does not affect your Xbox account

If you wanted to remove the name you should've done it the correct way

Rename yourself then wait for the months for the name to be freed up

Now.you have to.wait foe.the 5 year wait and whenever the next deletion wave happens

 

Because I was told it was an Enforement issue by Microsoft Live Support who'd looked into it for me!

I deleted my full MS account which would include my Xbox account. MS support said the account had been deleted but the profile was still there for some reason and told me to post here.

I never realised DELETING an account would make it harder to recover, who knew? Thanks for your antagonist response.

 

Any help from Enforcement would be appreciated.

 

because it's not an enforcement issue

You need to recover it and change the name of you want to free up the namrok

 

you can't delete an account PERIOD

You can delete the personal data and ms acount but legally no you cannot delete your Xbox account

It's a security issue if you ever could do so

They retain the data so incase you were compromised you wouldn't lose your account

Again you went the wrong way to do it

The appropriate way is to rename yourself and then use the freed gamertag

I need hep from Enforcement as instructed by Microsoft support. Where does it say that the Xbox account will stay active for 5 years?? All i can see is "Microsoft permanently removes the account after 60 days" - this is what I wanted, for it to be deleted!

There isn't any mention of doing it your 'right' way on there?? How can I have done it wrong if there aren't any instructions to the contrary?

I don't want to rename my gamertag, I want my old one to stop appearing on peoples friends list and being searchable even now when my account was deleted 2 years ago!

The enforcement team do not use the forums and there is no way to contact them regarding an issue like this. They only handle suspensions/bans. ngocphi has given you the correct information. You can delete a Microsoft account (which you have done), but it
is not possible for you to delete an Xbox account.

I honestly cannot understand how my old, deleted account can still be actively accepting friend requests when my entire Microsoft account has been deleted, it makes absolutely no sense to me and surely cannot be right. At the very least
it should have been deactivated and no longer accepting requests.

Note for the future ngocphi, stop telling people to 'you should have done it the right way'
when they come here with a problem. The 'right way' way you mention isn't instructed by Microsoft anywhere I can see and certainly isn't mentioned when deleting your account, in fact it says 'Microsoft

Anyway, as I say, I give up. What chance have I got when official support sends me here of all places.
