    Need disc to play on Xbox One?


    I have the game disc for RS: Vegas and Vegas 2. I installed both of them on the One but when I try to start RS: Vegas, it asks for the disc even though it says the game is installed on my system. With Vegas 2, it doesn't ask for the disc. Can I not play
    RSV without the disc?

    On another note, $20 for the digital download of this game? Really Microsoft? It's a 10 year old game that I can pick up at GS for under $5. How about lowering the prices of older games to a reasonable price, if you're really interested in selling and making
    money off them.

    Mass Effect 3 unavailable

    Mass Effect 3 is available on Xbox One. You need to insert the 1st disc and it will install by downloading a digital copy. The disc must be in the Xbox to play.

    Skate 3

    Your Skate 3 disc is just a token that lets you download and play the backwards compatible version on your Xbox One. However you still need to have the disc inserted into the Xbox one to play the game.

    Sorry to hear you're upset. However, the disc is required to be in the system for any game unless you purchase the digital version.

    Both of them should require disc if they were installed using that way but if the game was already on your account or was part of the downloads for the newer Tom Clancy games explains why Vegas 2 doesn't need a disc.

    I think I installed them when they were offered as the monthly free games for gold. That might be why Vegas 2 doesn't need the disc. Not sure why Vegas needs the disc. Thanks for the response.

    I am astounded that MS charges $20 for a ten year old game.
