Need club to public

Discus and support Need club to public in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I am the owner and administrator of the Mage coligum club and I didn't mean to put it on private, I wanted it on public, but it won't let me change it....     Need club to public


    I am the owner and administrator of the Mage coligum club and I didn't mean to put it on private, I wanted it on public, but it won't let me change it. Is there any way that you guys can help me out and change it? If so please, thanx in advance.

    Manage Clubs confusion

    Even for Public clubs, other users still have to request an invitation. The membership setting "Let people ask to join the club" does not seem to affect this - so what does it do for public clubs?

    How do you change a Club from 'Hidden' to 'Public' ?

    I have 'Preview Dashboard'. I created a Club and make it 'Hidden'. I'm trying to make it 'Public' however do not see the option to make it 'Public'. When first creating the Club I made it 'Hidden' to allow time to configure and design the Club before making
    it 'Public'.

    Note: I went here already: (No 'Public' option) http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/xbox-live/change-privacy-settings-for-clubs

    Also Note: Online Chat support sent me here. (But this link is broken) Uh oh... that shouldn't have happened.

    Could someone please help me with this?

    Hi Phenixmaster84,

    Unfortunately there would not be a way for us to manually change that setting. You would need to recreate the club as a public club in order to accomplish this.

    Clubs

    Not all clubs you can easily join, some are public and some are private. You'll have to check what requirements you need to join the club.

    How do i change Club join permissions

    Hey there -

    If you want your Club to be public, you'll have to make a new one and be sure to choose "public" from the start. Don't forget that Club names can be changed later so you aren't stuck using a name you don't want.

    Cannot Transfer Club Ownership

    Hey there planetRL luke!

    Any chance you can try transferring Club ownership form the Xbox app on a Windows 10 PC to see if there's any change?

    Also, can you clarify if your club is public or private?
    Hi, yeah I've tried the Windows 10 app, Windows 10 beta app & iOS 10 app, but none of them allow me to transfer ownership of this club particularly (tried it with another club as a test and everything worked fine).

    The club is public, name 'Planet Rocket League'
