    Those with Elite controllers should be able to customize their stick curves 100% and not be forced to used presets. I understand presets make it easy for people, and I don't think they should be removed, just that there should also be a "custom" option among
    them. At first, the stick options were a fantastic addition, but then it somehow became really inconsistent when mixed with some games, namely ones that use a square dead zone for some *** reason. It's to the point I don't even use the stick options and just
    go with default. It got better when the radial calculation option was added but it's still wonky in some spots, plus it still calculates diagonals as lower than horizontal/vertical (if only even slightly this can be noticed in some conditions).

    How is your Elite Controller holding up?

    The Elite controller is obsolete since the Xbox One S controller has improved analog sticks with more tension than the original One controller or Elite controller. The sticks on the S controller don't have that floppy feeling and the bumpers are way better. The added texture really makes it feel much better too. The Elite controller needs a redesign.

    Sending xbox one elite controller for repairs

    My elite controller has really bad stick drift and needs repairs. The microsoft website explains that the controller can be sent in and gives me a link to device registration where it does not give any option for controller repair. What do I do?

    Question about Xbox Elite 2 and wireless adapters on PC

    Hello, as mentioned the elite 2 controller has bluetooth but if your pc doesnt you will need a bluetooth dongle for your pc. Also, I highly recommend the elite 2 controller. I loved the first one and find that the 2 is even better. It is slightly smaller
    than the first and one reason I preferred the elite 1 was because of the tension in the sticks. They seemed much more precise. I cant even use a regular controller anymore as they feel loose and cheap to me. The elite 2 went a step further and you can actually
    adjust the tension on the sticks. There are 3 different settings that go from loose to very tight. I personally love it.

    I had the PDP controller for a while, but i tend to find the sticks take a bit of abuse. so maybe the elite is the best option?

    Why does a standard Xbox controller not have stick deadzone configuration?

    Deadzones aren't really intended to fix stick drift. Stick drift is a fault that needs repairing.

    And the customisation is another reason to buy the Elite. They need to make it different from the standard controller.
