Need Assistance with switching X360 to X1? (Question)

i wasn't sure where i could put this at. so.. i might as well try. i'm actually looking for assistance to transition from 360 to Xbox One. i heard about a program that i didn't know about and missed out on. it happened way back in February. i can't remember
the date when it started.

but it was something about loyal xbox users getting free xbox one console to switch from 360 to One. i was curious if this actually happened or not. that's why i am wondering if it's possible to find help with this so i may know what really happened, when
and how it was done in a way. i am quite unsure what kind of answers i'm going to get. but i do hope it's decent information, enough for me to look things up more to find out. because that will help greatly.

also, i would like to know if it's still possible to switch consoles even after the program thing assuming if it did exist in first place. i have very much older console that i still use. so i'd like to change to Xbox One at least to stream my games live
for first time. just other first time streamer. also, if it's not possible, here must be someone that i can talk to. perhaps xbox support?

The only "free" Consoles that I know of were a few at Launch of the Xbox One that went out to Users with very high Gamescores. There's one that Post on the Forums but it was hit or miss to who actually was given free Consoles.

That said I am not aware of any trade in program from February. And usually when MS means "loyalty" they are asking for huge Gamescore/ Achievements and a huge selections of purchased Games, time and effort.

 

The only thing that I think you can do is take your 360 to gamestop and see if they have some sort of deal. The web site says that they are giving $100 towards the upgrade of a new console.

 

Not sure your point even if it did happen which it didn't it's not available to you and you're acting like you can't go into a store to buy the one no one is going to stop you. And if you want something for your 360 sell it on eBay

 

It never happend and if it would've I would've bought a used 360 at Gamestop and traded it for an Xbox One in a heart beat.
