Need An Expert’s Help With Messaging

Hey, I have an Xbox One with 2 years of valid gold live. I cannot message anyone. The account is Xbox live. It is also a child account that’s says it’s 50+ years old. I’ve went through the troubleshooting with an admin and he said to ask here for more help.
When I try to message, I get a message saying, “Messaging not working for your account. Please go to support.xbox.com/fix-Messaging”

I’ve tried going there and trying that way, doesn’t work. I have all the permissions to chat/message, doesn’t work. I can message on other accounts just not this one. The admin that was helping me also checked to see if I had prevlages removed for communication
due to bad behavior,, but I’m clean. I would really like to be able to chat and talk in game with a mic before battlefront 2 comes out. Can anyone help me? I paid for live and it’s not even working properly.

hello,recently i bought a xbox one and a 1tb external hard drive, i have a couple cuestions
1.-It,s better to install all of my videogames in my external hard drive leaving the internal intact?
2:- its anny difference between external and internal? i mean that the external its going to live more or have more life spectance than the internal ?
3.- how long did your hard drives last or whats the life expectancy ?
I thinks is better to install all in the external but i dont know it that gonna last me .
since recently i have an accident and the only thing i can do is play xbox for a few months, You think if i used cointinuosly and all day the external hard drive its gonna die more sooner than later?

Depends. Some external hard drives load and run games faster than the internal proprietary HDD. Most don't though. Myself, I have a large external I install all my games on and run from there, leaving the internal for just apps and updates. It's just easier that way for me. I haven't had any problems.

Not really any difference there, no. An external might last longer, but if you are asking if the Microsoft internal will crap out sooner than a third party drive, I'm guessing no. The Xbox One seems to be very well built. Like I said earlier, it depends on the drive whether or not it can load and run games faster. But you won't see much of a difference.

My 500GB HDD filled up fairly quickly. Most games are about 35-50 GB of space. Even more with some. So do the math. That will get you about 20 games. And that isn't accounting for updates and the OS. So probably much less than 20. Life expectancy? I've had my Xbox One since launch (about 2 and a half years) and it has shown no signs of fatigue.

Not really. They are designed to be on at all times. But even if they require an external power source and your Xbox is on at all times... it won't be in use constantly. Only while you are downloading, uploading and running the game will it be in use.​

Is the account being managed by a master family account, if so then this account will never be consider an adult until it is removed from the family account and put into it's own stand-a-lone as the are consider child accounts no matter your age.
