    Need advice on account changing Xbox one


    Got an Xbox one that came with Minecraft for the grand kids at Christmas to use at our house. My son-in-law set it up that day using his Microsoft account. I later set up my own account but have not tried to add it yet. I have been reading about adding another
    account and deleting one. If I delete his account from our Xbox, will I lose the Minecraft games that we used a code to download them to the hard drive? Or would I be better off just adding my account as a second account and ignore his?

    Account stolen

    I was just wondering if anyone else has had their account stolen. I have a open ticket with Xbox Support. But I am looking for any other advice. I do not understand how the email on my sons account got changed and now we can not access it. Thanks in advance.

    How to change the Xbox country (region)?

    on the xbox one or 360?

    Changing your region on xbox one works but if you are trying to download region locked content on 360games you need to do it on this website under manage my account and change my region

    If the game Minecraft was redeemed on your son-in-law's account, it would be better to let his account stay on the Xbox One and just add your account. The license of the game will remain on the account where you redeemed it. You can also set your son-in-law's
    account as HOME Xbox on your Xbox One for you to be able to share his games on your new account. You may refer to the links below for more information.

    Word of advice, if you use a different email address and password for Xbox live to what you use on other websites and online services, you won't need to change anything if one of those services are compromised.

    Unfortunately support gave you incorrect advice. No one on the forums can issue a forced name change. FNCs are only issued by the enforcement team if the name violates the code of conduct.

    The free name change is only available for the first 30 days of an account. So if your wife has had the account longer than 30 days, then you will need to pay the 800 points.
