Need a PIN number to add a PIN number?

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues signing in your Microsoft account. I understand that you have an Xbox and your account is requesting for a PIN.

If you’ve forgotten your PIN and can’t access restricted console features, follow these steps:

When you’re prompted to enter your PIN on the console, enter any 6-digit combination three times.

Enter your Microsoft account password when prompted.

Select Make a new PIN.

Enter a new PIN, and then enter it again to confirm.

Give back to the community. Help the next person who has this issue by indicating if one of my replies solved your problem. Click Yes or No.

I was not given those options. (I'm using the app on a computer)

I had to enter my password first, in order to get to the step where it wants me to enter a PIN. All I get is that the pin is locked and I have to restart the PC to attempt again after failing to enter the correct PIN too many times. I'm not getting any options to make a new PIN.

Please I need help to find my pin number! Any advice would help!!

Ok, so I just had a friend which had 16 pins and could still add more, so it's certainly not working right for me.

Also when I search the error code, I cannot find any solutions that work for me... I may need to make a new topic because the title for this one is misleading and I don't seem to be able to edit it for some reason.
