Is Mario Kart out ? i kept my wii for so long only because of mario kart, me and friends played it online for hours, i was debating picking a Wii U cause i want to play the new Mario Kart

I say play through them, then get rid of them all. None are particularly outstanding or have long term staying power...

 

Its not out yet but it will be out in a month or two i believe along with super smash bros

 

Anyone else care to share their thoughts?

 

i own all 3 consoles. PS 4 is used the most, than Wii U, Xbox one is barely used...If you really want X 1- wait till more games comes out for it and it gets updated.. In the state that its in - its not exciting.. Even my kids don't bother with X1, always
ask for Wii U.i really hope that it gets better for X1, but for now PS4 is my choice, Wii U is my wife and kids choice, and X1 is dust's choice..

 

I'd wait until halo comes out to pick up an xbox one. Imo ps4 is the better console and your not missing much on x1 that you cant get on ps4 and visa versa, plus if you really want titanfall you can get it on 360 or pc.

 

For the love of god get an X1 over a wii u.

The wii range of consoles is one if the worst things to happen to gaming.

Since you play with your GF and enjoyed Mario, i would suggest keeping the wii u as you will have Mario Kart and Smash Brothers out soon, both games i intend on playing with my GF

 

@BoasBS5 true i will have a ton of fun playing those games with my GF. Even if i only use the console for mario games i guess because there is nothing else on the wii that would really catch my attention.

Titanfall to me seems like a big deal so maybe i should just wait for march? & make my choice at that point while keeping the wii u but i would still like to hear everyones thoughts on the subject.

Will a Gears Of War be coming out ? & will titan fall allow you to level up and custimize ones mech? Or does everyone use the same mech?

 

There will be another gears of war I don't think it was officially announced yet though. As far as titanfall I'm sure you'll have customization options but the fact that it's only multiplayer is a huge deal breaker for me

 

I'm not a fan of the Wii, I just don't like the whole motion control for video games. I dunno maybe I'm just an old fashion gamer.

 

If I were in your shoes....ditch the Wii U and pick up a PS3 ( I'm assuming you have a 360). Huge game library and lots of wife/GF friendly games.

I have both a One and PS4, both are gathering dust simply for a lack of games. Your PS4 will let you play cross platform until the One exclusives start coming out.

As for the OP, I've had my Xbox One for about a month now & I can honesty say that it's pretty cool, especially where the games & voice commands when used for navigation are concerned. However, I'll also say that I had my expectations a little too high & was
mildly disappointed when I first started using it. That being said, many updates are coming to fix many issues you may have read about & because it's a completely different UI than the Xbox 360, it may take some getting used to. It's definitely some pretty
cool tech all-around regardless & I would personally recommend it.
