    Need a Kinect adapter for my Xbox one


    unable to find an adapter for less than $100. Ebay and Amazon both are selling for upwards of $250. This is so unfair, why is the Kinect even for sale without all the necessary parts to operate it.

    looking for Xbox one kinect adapter

    Hi, I've bought Xbox one S and Kinect for my daughter, now I need Xbox one Kinect adapter and can't find that on Microsoft store.

    Is there any substitute for Kinect or this type of adapter?

    The price is high at ebay, I'm wondering where can I find the adapter in better price?

    Hi there,

    The Kinect was discontinued a few months ago. Unfortunately, it was only recently announced that the adapter had been discontinued as well. That's why it's price on the second hand market is so high.

    Only advice I can offer is to check stores that often sell used games/accessories to see if they have any for a more reasonable price.

    Kinect Support for XBox One X

    The Kinect will work on the Xbox One X. It just needs the adapter. Assuming it's the right adapter, then it should work fine with Kinect games and voice commands.

    The Kinect is definitely not built into the Xbox One S or X. That saleman was misinformed.

    Please follow the steps below to request an adapter from support. Just a heads up that you'll need the serial numbers from your older Xbox One, the Xbox One S and the Xbox One Kinect in order to get a free adapter.
