    Has anyone else used the NBC app and noticed the volume for the commercials changes drastically?

    From one commercial, which is a moderate level, to the next, which risks blowing out your TV speakers.

    Specifically for the Nexxus hair care commercials.

    Aren't there laws against that? Even if they are specific laws for TV broadcast only, isn't it shady to work around volume level laws for streaming content?

    I'm hoping for some kind of fix because it is unbearable and sucks to have to change the volume 4 times throughout a one minute commercial break.

    Yes an NBC app is available for US Xbox Live member:

    Hi there!

    Unfortunately, adding an app to the console is not up to Xbox or Microsoft, but up to the publisher of that media and developer of the app.

    Microsoft provides the tools and SDK's to allow any publisher to add their app to the console, but ultimately it would be up to that developer to create an Xbox version of the app and publish it to the store.

    Hope that helps clarify why some apps are not available on the system!

    The best place to reach out when you're seeing trouble with an app like that would be the app provider since they are the ones who would control the experience within the app. NBC App Commercials :) It looks like they have a
    site where you can specifically give them feedback about issues with the app. That might be the best place to start!
