nba game time not available to download

If it's available on the 360,why not the XOne? Also, the way I read the info from XBOX.com,it will be available. They also have NHL apps

NBA always heads to game pass and at that time is available

There are explanations for at least some of your issues:

1) It does take a fairly long time to install a disc based game to the hard drive, especially if there is a game update available because that is downloaded before the installation begins.

2) I understand that the 2k servers have been up and down and generally unreliable. At this time, NBA 2k14 apparently is pretty buggy also.

I wouldn't expect roster updates to be available very often. Once these sports games are released the developers start spending all their time on the next game. NBA 2K13 will be here before we know it!
