NBA 2K19 Legendary Edition

Quick question,

I already preordered my copy of this digitally using my Xbox account, I've already been charged and everything is set for the launch of the game 4 days early tonight. Its been on my games/apps section for a long time, but does preordering the legendary edition
not come with its own digital cover? So far I have the regualar 2k19 Icon with Giannis as the cover on my games, but my purchase history says legendary. I am guessing its like this because its a bundle and not a separate game.

I probably answered my own question but its worth asking I guess.

NBA 2K19 Anniversary Edition

That version of the game is set to release on the 7th of September: Buy NBA 2K19 20th Anniversary Edition - Microsoft Store

Availability of the title can vary based on when the store is updated, so there isn't a way to really nail down when it will go live, particularly any multiplayer features.

 

I looked at the bundle for the Anniversary Edition (the one with LBJ on the cover) and it shows "NBA 2K19" as being part of the bundle, but with the standard logo. Sometimes the special editions don't generate new dashboard logos, but sometimes they do.
When the game opens up, the update that unlocks it may bring in a new logo ... or it may not. Guess you'll have to see before you start playing. Enjoy!
