NBA 2k15 Supremely Slow Install

I started downloading NBA 2k15 (no pre-order) last night at around 10PM. By 1am it had only reached 11%. I gave up, went to bed thinking it would be fully downloaded when I woke up, but it ended up only getting to 60% after 8 hours.

I checked my internet connection and it's running fine. Wondering if anyone else is having this problem as well?

Things I've tried to speed up the download:

• Reset router
• Reboot xbox one
• Pause and restart NBA 2k15 installation

Am I missing anything?

i can't install nba 2k15

update: got beyond the 4%!

steps:

1. boot the xbox one with internet connected

2. remove the bluray app

3. install the bluray app

4. insert nba 2k15 disc

5. xbox one says there are updates available for nba2k15. accept these updates

6. install nba 2k15, it will error on 4%.

7. remove nba 2k15 completely

8. install nba 2k15, it probably will use the updates / download from internet instead using the disc.

9. wait an aeon since it's only on 6% (half an hour).

don't know if this is going to work for complete installation but, i'm at 7% now.

 

Question about internet usage amounts plz help

how would my internet provider know how much internet nba 2k15 uses to install?

I'm 8 hours in and at 82%. should have just bought the hard copy.

 

Me too. Was at 60% after 6 Hours. I Cancelled and tried again. Now 5% in mauve six minutes

 

Mine froze twice. And I have the hard copy

 

Going on 2 days and mine is just now at 95%

 

Mine was an overnight download/install. Roughly 10 hours based on the bandwidth usage in the network settings section.

 

If I have the hard copy what could help speed up the process?

 

im having a problem where I started the download over a day ago and it is only at 16%. How can I speed up the process

 

I have a hard copy and it's doing the same thing! I'm reinstalling and it is not even 50% since yesterday. Never seen anything like this. Leave it to 2K to still amaze me.

 

What I did was I disconnected the connection from setting and then installed and seemed to do the trick but that was only for the hard copy so idk what you can do if u have the digital copy sorry

 

i have the hard copy and the trick is not working, its a shame, with a brand new game from amazon, that this is not working and my disc drive is working ok, have a grinding noise, but read all discs, exceptc nba 2k15

 

Just got an xbox one yesterday and bought nba, I go to install, and it keeps saying "Installation stopped" at 21%.

I have now tried 7 times and it never gets passed 21%.
