NBA 2k14 servers aren't working

for some reason, whenever It loads on to the nba 2k14 main menu, it says, " Checking for Internet Connection". And it stays like that. My internet is working fine.

Is there a way to fix this issue?

Servers Not Available for MyPlayer.

All I'm trying to do is get into my game and play MyCareer (MyPlayer), but it keeps telling me the servers aren't available and I'll have to convert my VC points to Skill Points. Once that is done, there's no wait for me to switch them back to VC points,
which is BS. Is 2K Sports shutting down the servers again because NBA 2K14 has launched? They did that *** with NBA 2K12. As soon as NBA 2K13 launched they shut down all the NBA 2K12 servers and no one could play online.

 

My games can't connect to their servers

Exact same problem here and as well on nba 2k14 but that games servers are junk anyways

 

I have the same issue. Is there a work around for this?

 

I have already tried the 10 second power reset and plugged my router off for 30 seconds and then back on. My network is absolutely fine as stated by Xbox itself on testing connection. Nothing seems to work. Considering I have bought like 100 $ worth of VC
and spent additional 70 $ on the game I am utterly disappointed. I am never buying this game again. The got next glitch and waiting in the park before you can play was so idiotic.
