    NBA 2k14 Issues: "This game took too long to start"


    I was recently playing NBA 2k14 on myCareer when I encountered a problem. I purchased player upgrades with my VC that I earned and the screen got froze where it said "Please wait, connecting to the 2k sports server". I've seen problems like this before and
    so I uninstalled the game and then re-installed it, knowing that my save data is not deleted. But when I re-installed it and tried to play it, it says the game "took too long to start". Anyone else encounter something like this? and if so, what solution options
    do I have other than deleting my save data?

    Games and Apps "took too long to start" / connectivity issues

    Try re-installing the game again and if that doesn't work try re-downloading your profile again

    NBA 2k14 Issues: "This game took too long to start"

    Try doing a hard reset of your console by holding the power button on the front of the console until it turns off then unplug it from the outlet for 30 sec then plug it back in and power back on and try the game again.

    Painfully slow download of games

    I downloaded Killer Instinct and it didnt take very long at all on launch day...later i bought NBA 2K14 and that thing took literally all day and night lol woke up the next day and was able to play it!

    Hi Grunt989! Does the problem come up with all the games that you try to start while you're upgrading? Try deleting the system cache with the power cycle and try again. Hold down the power button for 10 secs, wait for the console to turn off, wait for 30
    secs, and then turn it on again.
