    Hi, I was wondering if anyone can help me to change my NAT settings as mine has somehow went from open to strict.

    As you can guess playing a MP game now is near impossible, and not being able to join some live parties is annoying..

    Now im with Telstra & have a Thomson TG782T wireless modem.

    I tried ringing Telstra's technical support team, but of course John from India couldn't help me, I've youtubed it and found only US solutions for US modems.

    So if anyone can help me out or point me to a website with a step by step guide it would be gladly appreciated.

    NAT Type

    My NAT type is not working, I just got a new modem from Comcast, and now the NAT type is unavailable. Any suggestions?

    Destiny Help...

    Check your NAT on your Xbox One. Do a search on open nat for xbox one.

    Have you tried rebooting the modem? Just turn it off for about 5 minutes and turn it on and connect back up to xbox live to see if it helps.

    search for "port fowarding, open NAT on xbox". Its been years since I did it but something like "port 88" is one of the ports that needs attention, there are 2 or 3 ports from memory that should get you back to an open NAT.

    Not behind a NAT or not behind a cone nat?

    Not behind a NAT means you are connected to a bridged router or DMZ or Modem. A Modem doesn't have NAT.

    So the test says your NAT is open because you are not NATted :)

    NAT NAT NAT. both of you need to run the xbl connection test. if there is any NAT issue, call xbox support to get it squared away.

    Random disconnects from xbox live

    You can have see open NAT and still have "invisible" NAT. What version of your WGR614 do you have? Even with it having open NAT, the version 10 has irresolvable NAT, and NAT problems CAN cause intermittent disconnections.
