    NAT, XBox One & Call of Duty Advanced Warfare


    Need some help with NAT settings. Just don’t understand, my Xbox One says the NAT is open but when I play Call of Duty advanced warfare it says Moderate? Been having a few issues with joining party invites etc.

    I know you can unlock ports and mess around with your router to sort this out but don’t feel 100% in doing this. Had no issues with any other games only Call of Duty. Don’t see why I have to mess around with my router to play call of duty with my mates.

    Xbox one bundle with new call of duty ?

    Simply Games do a bundle with the new white Sunset Overdrive bundle & COD for £339.99, it's out of stock at the moment but worth keeping an eye on in case it comes back in stock.

    Hey Bench! Unfortunately, this was also a problem on Ghosts, because for some reason Activision's servers communicate through two ports which are not on the list of open ports in Xbox One's port forwarding. I strongly recommend giving the port forwarding
    a go, because www.portforward.com has a great set of step-by-step instructions on how to forward ports for every brand and model of router out there. I was nervous about it the first time I did it on my Xbox 360, but I got through it and it helped me get more
    comfortable with network configuration in general.

    It will tell you how to log into your router, AND how to forward specific ports. The ports which will need to be forwarded are:

    Port 88 (UDP)

    Port 3074 (TCP and UDP)

    Port 53 (TCP and UDP)

    Port 80 (TCP)

    Port 500 (UDP)

    Port 3544 (UDP)

    Port 4500 (UDP)

    Port 3075 (UDP - Activision Specific Port)

    Port 3076 (UDP - Activision Specific Port)

    When I first played Ghosts, I had this identical issue - open NAT, but Moderate on the Ghosts MP menu. I forwarded 3075 and 3076, and magically, everything worked beautifully! NAT, XBox One & Call of Duty Advanced Warfare :)

    SOLUTION - Modem/Gateway + Router - Open NAT setup

    In order the nat to be open on both Xbox live and call of duty advanced warfare I have to have both port forwarding and the modem ito be in bridge mode.
