Nat Type

I have a consern about my NAT type. No matter what I do I have a strict NAT but I have WIFI connected to my One console and I get 10 Mbps download speed and 3Mbps upload speed and I have tried everything that was in support and still doesn't change. What
else could be wrong?

NAT Type

My NAT type is not working, I just got a new modem from Comcast, and now the NAT type is unavailable. Any suggestions?

If it does still not work please take your current disc out of your xbox, go to settings, Disc & Blu-ray, Blu-ray, Persistent stroage(clear it 3 times)

Then go to network settings, advanced, alternate MAC address, clear. Your console will reset. Also make sure your NAT type is on open

You can all your Internet Service provider to have them open the ports for you(if they aren't open yet) or you can do it yourself

How to find your gateway ip? On your xbox go to network settings, advanced and you should see "gateway:__________"

If you have a computer near by you can enter those numbers including the periods into the web address bar. From there you should look for something called "port forwarding" if you can not find it, look up how to access your router on youtube.

Once you have gotten to the port forwarding area, "add a new service/add new port" It will vary what it is called on each router

Enter these ports below into the slots

These ports must be open for Xbox Live to work:

Port 88 (UDP)

Port 80 (TCP)

Port 500 (UDP)

Port 3544 (UDP)

Port 4500 (UDP)

Example:

Name: Xbox Live 1

IPV4 address: go back to your xbox under advanced network settings you would also see IP address, that is what you would enter

Type: either UDP or TCP or UDP/TCP

Start Port: 80

End Port: 80

make sure to save when you're done

Its best not to bother with those opening ports as they never work ,just make sure your UPNP is active and that will do it all for you,last case solution is using DMZ and putting your xbox one IP address in it.
