No matter what I do with my router I still get moderate nat setting message.

    Does it support
    UpnP
    ?

    Nat type/ Upnp issues.

I'd recommend taking a look at the steps here: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/networking/nat-error-solution That might help resolve your issue.

If you go through the process and still have some issues, provide us with some details here about what you see during that process and we can troubleshoot further.

I see, these network issues are really tricky.

Anyway, I'm sorry for your situation, and I really appreciate your understanding.

    I hope it all right.

    NAT Type and UPnP issues

Thanks for the reply Derek. Bizarrely, when I disconnect the ethernet cable and go from WiFi only, it says that my NAT Type is Open and "All services are available". Ideally, I know using a cable is faster and more reliable so I'd like to figure this out still, but at least I know my Xbox will work on WiFi.

I figured out how to get into the advanced settings of router connected to the ISP cable, but the settings to open ports is definitely over my head. I will see if I can talk to an IT employee I work with to help me out, because calling the ISP won't work if I don't speak the language.

    Hello!

My name is Dérek, I'm an independent platform consultant and I'm grateful for the opportunity to help you.

BMP, This is due to the settings of the internet devices.

You need to perform this configuration on all devices ok?

    Ie modem, and all routers.

So you just need to configure your internet devices now.

They are unconfigured, so have access restrictions, causing these errors.

If you do not have knowledge, I advise you to contact the ISP that they will do for you

set a fixed ip for the console/PC, open the ports described below, disable and enable the UPnP function and disable the modem firewall, if you have a modem and a router the process has to be done on both devices.

Put console/PC IP in DMZ zone.

    Port 88 (UDP)

    Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

    Port 53 (UDP and TCP)

    Port 80 (TCP)

    Port 500 (UDP)

    Port 3544 (UDP)

    Port 4500 (UDP)

You can ask ISP(Internet Service Provider) for help
