    NAT Type unavailable


    Hey, my Xbox One says my NAT Type is not available [It is NOT strict, it just sais the NAT Type is not available]. I checked it and the ports are open, plus it works perfectly fine on my roommates PS4. But my Xbox One and my new Xbox One S both wont let
    me play with friends online or even join a party because of this. Any idea how to fix that?

    NAT Type

    My NAT type is not working, I just got a new modem from Comcast, and now the NAT type is unavailable. Any suggestions?

    Hey Ehensel

    Do you have both consoles plugged into the same router? It could be that your router doesn't support this and causing the unavailable NAT type. I would unplug everything for the router /modem and console leave it 10 mins then boot the network up leave for
    5 mins then boot up one console and check your NAT type running a test conntion then a test multiplayer to force a new connection and refresh the NAT. If its still a issue then there is a helpful troubleshooting guide here Xbox One NAT Error | NAT Type Help

    My Xbox says I'm connected on connected devices on hot spot settings on phone but when I try to connect on the Xbox to go to live it says nat type unavailable n won't let me go online

    I understand that your xbox nat type says unavailable and will not let you go online

    I did and the problem still exist ,I don’t know if this problem caused by dynamic ip and should I have static ip from isp ,whatever I tried to get static up from isp and they told we can’t give you static ip !!
    No, the static IP from ISP depends on the provider (which many times offers it for a fee). Rather, you should try setting up a static IP on the console and using google DNS (eg 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4).
