NAT Type Unavailable

So I've had this issue for about a week or so.

My Xbox was plugged in with an Ethernetcable that goes through a powerline to my modem.

Everything was fine untill a week ago it said my NAT type was unavailable. I have no idea what that ment.

I resetted my powerline and my modem multiple times and sometimes it just decided to work.. And after finding out that the ethernet cable was actually damaged I went back on the Wi-Fi. But even
now this problem persists and it's really annoying.

Does anybody know what this problem is exactly? Or if there's a fix for this.

NAT Type

My NAT type is not working, I just got a new modem from Comcast, and now the NAT type is unavailable. Any suggestions?

What is the make and model of your modem?

What is the make and model of your powerline adapter(s)?

If you run the "Multiplayer test", wait of this test to finish, and then press and hold (simultaneously) LB+RB+LT+RT what is then the outcome of your NAT type?

Before we dig any deeper into your situation, please detailing out any additional troubleshooting steps you have taken up to this point, and which are directly related to your console.

 

Were you able to solve this issue?, It's happening to me and I don't know how to fix it.

 

Your NAT can be determined by multiple things due to how we all connect to Xbox Live. Most of the time it can be caused by a conflict within your modem/router and can be fixed in a few steps. But, as Taidara said, the more info we have to go on about your
situation and connection hardware the better we can help out. For example, if you have an apple router over a more conventional model like Netgear, Belkin etc. it can be a little more difficult to fix but it's not impossible.

What problem is the "Unavailable NAT" causing you exactly? Problems with multiplayer, party, voice, connectivity etc...

 

You need to open ports on router, when you connect the xbox one for the first time in your internet, on router management (where you open ports), xbox should created an xbox live profile for the specific ports, you only have to add that profile to an device(in
this case xbox one). I add my xbox one mac address and nat is ok now

 

I have the same issue and can't get a teredo IP address pops up. Using frontier router.

 

I am having the same problems, it says "can't get a teredo address" then when i click, LB, LT, RT, and RB it says NAT type is unavailable. Please help me, i only play multiplayer games on xbox so now i can't play anything.

I have the same exact problem i have a apple apple airport extreme base station. Can someone pls help me and idk the router password and my brother won't give it to me so I'm kinda stuck. My problems are that i can play minecraft or join parties (with sucks
