    Nat Type Strict only on Xbox One


    Hello iv been trying to get my xbox one from nat type strict to open.

    On my ps3 and xbox 360 i used the Pppoe to bypass the nat and it worked no problem to nat type 1

    I have forwarded all ports but iv never had much luck in the past with port forwarding

    I have been trying to get online in forza 5 and have only managed 1 game out of about 20 trys

    What Country/State/Province do you live in? Ireland

    Modem brand & model number:

    Router brand & model number: Netopia 3347Nwg

    Wired or wireless: Have tryed both

    Things you have tried: Port Forwarding, Upnp on/off. Static nat. Ip pass through/dmz

    Is UPnP Enabled? Yes/no/Unknown Tryed both still strict

    Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT type?
    Strict

    Any Error Codes you encounter: No

    Who is your ISP?(Internet Service Provider):
    Vodafone

    I have never had suscess in the past with nat types, the only thing thats ever worked before is the pppoe that i have

    Any help would be good

    Xbox One NAT type: Strict.... Help

    If it's still strict after you open the proper ports, try resetting your modem and router, then hard reset your console.

    This site will help you open the right ports
    Open Port

    Just select your router and follow the instructions. Do not download anything from the site, it's not necessary. It's a safe site, but port forwarding manually is very easy.

    Nat type open on xbox one but strict in cod ghost??? please help

    My nat type was open on Xbox360 and for some reason is strict on Xbox one? Can any help me and tell me how to get my nat type off strict?

    Hi Liam Vox,

    I see that you're issue has a strict NAT type. I know exactly how you feel! Nat Type Strict only on Xbox One :(

    Have you tried resetting the router? This usually works in some cases. In my own experience I had to factory reset my router once, and it worked like a charm. If you are able to do that safely without loosing control of your router, then I'd try experimenting
    with that.

    Also, did you do a troubleshoot of your connection via through the Xbox One?
