    Nat type open network issues.


    Im stuck trying to figure out why I cant receive invites from some friends and some games like gta online i will get kicked from. Ex. I was doing a heist and lost connectivity everyone in the party tells me I left so it has to be me right? My network says
    open and behind cone nat this is confusing ive opened ports etc. These problems didnt come to be until the last xbox one update ive noticed.

    Weird issue with mic

    Sounds like NAT or network issues. Sometimes when two people have a certain network config you can play and chat with other people just fine, but not someone else with your same issue.

    My wife and I used to have a similar issue with chat in OG Destiny. Check your NAT and make sure it is open not moderate or strict.

    Sorry to hear about the slow network performance. Let's check a few things to narrow this down. Does the issue persist when using both wired or wireless network connections on the console?



    Run a Detailed Network Statistics test on the Xbox One console through the Network Settings and please provide the following information.



    Download Speed

    Upload Speed

    Latency

    Packet Loss %

    Wireless Strength:

    Modem Manufacturer:

    Router Manufacturer (if being used) as well as the model number

    NAT Type

    I understand that's a fair amount of information, but that will help us a bunch!

    Yes the problem persist regardless if im using wireless or wired and these are the details

    Download Speed 16.57 Mbps

    Upload Speed 0.14 Mbps

    Latency 137ms

    Packet Loss 1%

    Wireless Strength: 100%

    Modem Manufacturer:

    Router Manufacturer technicolor model number TC8305C

    NAT Type Open IPv4 & IPv6

    Thanks for the information. We may have already narrowed this down to the router/modem combo you are using. The Technicolor TC8305C has been a little notorious for frequent disconnection issues and these issues have been well documented online. We definitely
    recommend either acquiring a router and modem that can support gaming consoles with an open NAT on your network, or reach out to your ISP for a device that can handle these sort of tasks.

    We hate to jump straight to that with little troubleshooting, but based off our experience that has been the main resolution customers with that device. Please feel free to keep us posted!
