Nat type open but network is behind an address-restircted nat

Sorry to hear about the network issues! Let's check a few things to narrow this down. Does the issue persist when using both wired or wireless network connections on the console?



Run a 'Detailed Network Statistics test' on the Xbox One console through the Network Settings and please provide the following information.



Download Speed:

Upload Speed:

Latency:

Packet Loss %:

Wireless Strength (if applicable):

Modem Manufacturer:

Router Manufacturer (if being used) as well as the model number:

There are different types of NAT (Network Address Translation) that can exist in a network, but one common way to identify if you are behind a NAT is to check the IP address assigned to your Android device.

Open the Settings app on your Android device.

Tap on "About phone" or "About device."

Look for the "IP address" or "Wi-Fi IP address" section. Note down the IP address assigned to your device.

Go to a computer or another device that is connected to the same network as your Android device and open a web browser.

In the address bar, type the IP address you noted down in step 3 and press Enter.

If you can access a website or service on the device, then you are not behind a NAT. However, if you cannot access the website or service, it is likely that you are behind a NAT.

remember that both need to perform the tests and have the same NAT to play together

i called them and they said that my nat type is open and that is all what they can do , so far it is still open but when i check the detailed nat information it sayd MY networks is NOT behind a nat :/

The very same thing has happened with me. The whole teredo thing. But I am on an xfinity router. How would you go about this?
