NAT Type Issues: Relating to Games on 360 and Backwards Compatibility and 360 Party Connection

My buddy and I want to play Halo Reach, and here's my issue:

Despite having the game on both 360 and the One, we've tried multiple combinations of console connection in which we've tried partying and grouping up to play through the campaign, however, we have been unable to do so due to NAT Type restrictions.

Our NAT Type restrictions have my buddies listed as Open on both consoles, whereas my listings are Strict on Xbox One (this has given me no issue partying up with them in the past) and Open on the 360.

Here's what we've tried:

1. Resetting internet and router

2. Resetting console

3. Resetting network defaults on Xbox 360

4. Matchmaking in general, in which we were both able to, in any combination of using backwards compatibility or just the 360 version, join matchmaking and compete in games, however unable to party with each other or join.

Curiously enough, we are able to party together on the Xbox One console, but no party in-game through Backwards Compatibility, no issues or voice dropping in party conversation, however on 360 we are unable to join each other at all in any capacity. We can
join and play games that are available only on Xbox One and experience no issues or connection dropping, yet on 360, carried on the same network, we can't do anything.

Previously this has never been an issue as we've played on 360 with no issues before, yet suddenly now no games or party connection can be established between the two of us despite no recent personal network changes.

In addition to testing different solutions with Halo: Reach, we've tried the same with Borderlands 2. We were unable to join each others games but could join a matchmaking session already in progress together, hosted by some random person. Independently
we could host matches in which other players could join us, but we couldn't join with each other.

Connection problems between me/another player

Hello there,

Different NAT types can definitely cause issues in a party chat and in a game. Your network connection can also cause issues in a party chat and in a game. The strength of the Wireless Connection, bandwidth and other people using devices on the same connection.
All of this can cause issues.

I can't connect to 360 services in order to download my profile

I have a wired connection with open NAT and I cannot connect to the 360 LIVE services via backwards compatibility. I tried basic troubleshooting steps and now I can't even redownload my 360 profile.
