NAT Type is Open on Xbox One, But Strict on 360

My NAT type on my 360 has suddenly changed from open to strict. Nothing has changed with my network, I haven't gotten a new router or modem, and my Xbox One still says that my NAT type is open. I've tried some different things to fix it, but I don't understand
why my NAT type went from open on both consoles for a long period of time to strict on the 360 for no apparent reason.

Xbox live friend already online..but keep getting notifications that he has come online every 10 mins or so.

I would also like to mention that this exact same thing has happened to my friend on the exact same date that mine changed to strict. Neither of us have found a solution or a reason for this.

Have you tried System>System>Network Settings>Wired/Wireless Network>Configure Network>Additional Settings>Restore Factory Defaults ?

 

Yes I have tried that, however, nothing changed. It's still telling me that I have a strict NAT type.

Hmm, could you try to change the NAT type on your router and modem? If you don't know how to do this, please tell us your model number and ill try to find some instructions for you!

Are you still having the NAT (NETWORK ADDRESS TRANSLATION) connectivity issues on your XBOX
360? If you are, I recommend that you try opening your ports called port forwarding on your home router, if you have no experience in this, please have someone help you that is familiar with this. This issue also could
of came about due to your internet company resetting your router with new parameters that they believe were vulnerable to your system or due to a system upgrade. To help you with this you can check out PORT FORWARD website, they have step by step instructions
on how to port forward (OPEN).

Twister! Its not a good idea to forward ALL ports, only the ones you need, which you can find

here. And i forgot to ask, have you gone through the diagnostics located
here? If none of that works (including my earlier reply's instructions), try UNAF's suggestion.

 

@UNAF Twister - It's important to understand that when you connect multiple console's (Xbox) to the same router/NAT Internet Connection, that you can't manually forwarding network ports used by Xbox Live, since both of these console's are competing over
network port 3074.

@vengence422 - Appreciate if you could give answers to a few, but valuable questions, so that people trying to help you can have a better understanding of your situation.

Sorry, I haven't had a chance to check the responses in a while. My friend, the same one that was having the identical problems as me, has now had his NAT type change from closed to open on its own. We are now able to play together fine, but my NAT type
didn't change along with his like it had initially. I also forgot to mention in my first post that my Xbox 360 is utilizing a wired connection while my Xbox One is connected wirelessly. I have went through the troubleshooting that I was prompted to try on
my 360 but none of those solutions worked.

My NAT type has changed back to open on its own. I was going to try forwarding the ports as suggested above, but after I checked it one last time, it had switched back to open.
