  1. NAT Type for Xbox One Will Not Change to Open (Netgear WNR2000v4)

Well, time to see if anyone has some advice because this has become infuriating - I had (at one point) an Open NAT set up on my 360 and on a different router (an older Linksys) and an older modem. However, for whatever reason, my NAT is still listed as
Moderate on Xbox One despite seemingly doing everything necessary to prevent that.

Network setup - An Xbox One (of course), the aforementioned Netgear WNR2000v4, and an **** TG862G/CT modem.

-I went into my Xbox One's settings and assigned it a Static IP address well outside any automatic ranges.

    -Port 53 is forwarded (TCP/UDP)

    -Port 80 is forwarded (TCP)

    -Port 88 is forwarded (UDP)

    -Port 500 is forwarded (UDP)

    -Port 3074 is forwarded (TCP/UDP)

    -Port 3544 is forwarded (UDP)

    -Port 4500 is forwarded (UDP)

    -Port 3074 is forwarded (TCP/UDP)

    -Port 3544 is forwarded (UDP)

All of these ports are forwarded to my Xbox One's static IP. Looks just like this (Open Ports on the Netgear WNR2000 Router)
but with the IP address completely filled in (192.168.1.151 - my Xbox One's static IP).

Still a moderate NAT. What the hell is wrong? My only guess could be the modem (which can double as a Wifi device and is currently broadcasting, although it's not used) is someone interfering with things - there's no way to set it to simply act as a "bridge"
device on my end (Comcast apparently can, but I can't), but I'd like to not harass Comcast about it unless I know it's the problem.

    :)

Moderate NAT Type Changed to Open after restarting Xbox One console

NAT Type was "Moderate". Then, after I restarted my Xbox One console, the NAT Type changed to "Open". What is going on? I don't want to restart my console every time to change the NAT Type to "Open". Is this a server problem? Anyone having the same problem?

My NAT Type was "Open" initially.

    Sorry for my bad English.

Go to on your xbox one

    -Settings

    -Network

    -Test multilayer connection

Let the test run, once it has hold down simultaneously the

-left and right triggers and bumpers

This will take it to a network statistics page (note that the section for NAT type will be blank or retrieving stats.

Let this sit until a result for NAT type to fill.

You want it to say( Nat is behind a open cone port) or something similar

    Press A then A again 《DO NOT PRESS B》

If the NAT resault says it's behind a restricted port) then press B once then hold down

-left and right triggers and bumpers

Continue this process until you get none restricted result.

Hope this helps. Personally I have to do this every time I start up my xbox.

Remember you don't always get it the first time. Sometimes expect to cycle it 2 to 4 times.

    Cheers,

    Easy.

  7. Just to update this, I had my cable modem's integrated router switched to bridge mode, and and it fixed the problem, since all of my main router's ports were opened correctly.
