You should also check to see if your NAT type is strict as that can cause all sorts of connectivity issues.

Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

Port 53 (UDP and TCP)

Port 80 (TCP)

Port 500 (UDP)

Port 3544 (UDP)

Port 4500 (UDP)

Please try changing you NAT type, because in order for you to connect well and to not have such issue s the NAT needs to be Open.
