So, my online gaming experience has been absolutely dreadful over the past month. Every time I load my Xbox, go into an online game I.E Call of Duty, my connection stays stable yet I’m constantly lagging on and off for the entire game. When I go to check my NAT Type I get either “strict” or “unavailable” and when I test I get “failure to obtain Teredo IP”.

I have tried everything, such as, port forwarding, manual DNS settings, going into my ISP’s Router settings and enabling/disabling UPnP, reinstalling games, factory resetting Xbox to name a few.

I initially put it down to my ISP being inadequate which has happened before (Virgin Media). But I think it has been ever since I downloaded the new Call of Duty from gamepass. However, COD is not the only online game effected, Rocket League, GTA, even Minecraft is lagging me out frequently.

Anybody had an issue like this? Know how to fix? Or is my online internet connection FUBAR?
