    ^^This does work I used to do it but it is a quick fix that you have to do most times you turn you x1 on. I did it for awhile till I could afford a better gaming router. Def give it a try. Sometimes it takes a few times to work.

    It stays open if your xbox is in instant-on.But if you do a hardreset or energy saving than it may not be open.

    I switched modems. It now says 'NAT type: Open'...but when I logged into ghosts it says nat type strict in the front menu.

    @ CODukes ....

    Weird thing is, my NAT has mostly been OPEN, well it went to MOEDRATE when I switched to the Home Hub 5 ( BT Infinity ) but after a few adjustments I got it back to OPEN.

    Odd thing is, whenever I run a Network Test is says open, don't have no issues joining games/party's etc but whenever I played COD Ghosts on XB1 it said MODERATE when the Network Test told me differently. Few friends had the same problem with COD Ghosts
    aswell so I wouldn't worry about it.

    Unless you are having connection issues, or serious lag dont worry about your NAT type. It changes when it wants on xbox one.

    Okay, it may be down to your NAT Type being strict or moderate. Have a look at the

    Nat Type Strict (Or Moderate)     to find out if you have a strict or moderate NAT Type, and how to resolve it.
